M.A.I.A, (pronounced MAYA, an acronym for Medical, Artificial Intelligence Assistant), is the first AvAIsor born in the MedicAIze Lab. M.A.I.A is a cutting-edge digital robot and the leading symptom checker and most accurate AI medical assistant for quick diagnosis and triage on the market. M.A.I.A. can understand a user’s medical history and respond to healthcare questions intelligently and thoroughly as well as direct patients to the right care provider type. M.A.I.A is constantly learning and adding to its knowledge base and can be implemented as an inbound medical advisor on a partner site and/or configured to be an outbound wellness check solution. The Artificial Intelligence platform enables insurers, doctors, nursing homes and other providers to stay in touch with their patients ensuring accurate, ongoing, affordable care. How Does it Work?
Patients engage the M.A.I.A. site and/or go to a partner site powered by MedicAIze. After an initial intake, MedicAIze sends out a medical records query with the required demographics for a patient match and, like a true doctor’s office triage, the system receives the medical records. Upon positive identity match, instead of a nurse or intern reviewing the health data, the AI works its magic by digesting and interpreting the patient’s past and current health information and initiates a session with the patient to address his or her health concerns and helps them maintain and improve their health. All sessions are stored and encrypted, secure compliant standardized manner. MedicAIze sessions are reviewed by certified and licensed medical professionals. The platform has partnered with leading EMR vendors, HIE, Data Aggregators and HealthCare providers enabling seamless exchange of data exceeding interoperability requirements.
