In the early 1990s, Eli Rowe founded Parameds with the goal of assisting insurance companies in obtaining medical records for life, long term care, and disability insurance underwriting. Over the past 30+ years, Parameds has become the go-to provider for APS (attending physician statements) and now services the majority of the industry.
In the early 2000s, Parameds expanded its offerings and began providing medical records to the legal space. With the advent of interoperability and providers going digital, in 2016, Eli opened the PDC innovation arm. Out of this lab came WOMBA (World Medical Bank Account), a digitally connected solution that connects to leading care providers, pharmacies, HIEs, EMR vendors, and more across the United States, enabling quick automated access to a large percentage of the country’s medical records. WOMBA provides thousands of cases monthly to the industry and is used by technology-forward insurance companies directly or through existing Parameds connections.
Another solution from the PDC innovation lab is MedicAIze, which uses a cutting-edge, secure, encrypted AI platform to provide automated summary solutions regardless of the source documents’ format including but not limited to FHIR, PDF, Handwritten, HL7 and more. MedicAIze offers increased security, faster delivery, confidentiality, and big data insights. Parameds and WOMBA clients can access MedicAIze reports directly through their existing WOMBA platform or delivery feeds at a reduced rate, while non-WOMBA/Parameds clients can utilize MedicAIze independently through the MedicAIze website.
MeONLY, a remote identity management platform, is another solution in the PDC innovation lab. By utilizing WOMBA or Parameds, clients can take advantage of all PDC solutions in an easy and affordable manner. PDC Corp and its subsidiaries are revolutionizing the medical records industry and are the one-stop solution for all data needs.
